This Veteran's Collection is my tribute to the Veterans who have fought America's wars. These bikes reflect my respect for their defense of our freedom.
In 1991, while paging through a motorcycle magazine, I saw a story about a guy in prison who was making small metal motorcycle models out of scraps. I thought that maybe I could make one too! So I grabbed a coat hanger, a box of metal junk from the garage, and created the first motorcycle Chopper Junk Art sculpture.
With a little support, I built a dozen or so "Bike Dreams" and attempted to sell locally - with unsatisfying results. So I put the bike dream adventure on hold...
...Until the spring of 2007, when I was running a small construction company. Two consecutive events let me know I had to find another line of work: I suffered a heat stroke while roofing, then injured my back during a karate event.
